Samsung’s Galaxy S20 range comes with (mostly) impressive hardware, but a rival new smartphone now gives you most of this performance at just a fraction of the price. Perhaps surprisingly, it is also manufactured by Samsung.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (‘Fan Edition’) aims to give you the flagship S20 experience without the terrifying price. Obviously, some sacrifices had to be made in the specs, but fortunately one area where the S20 FE performs particularly well is the camera.
The FE’s photographic specs are slightly reduced from those of the standard S20, but it costs a whopping $ 300 less and much remains unchanged from the more expensive model. Also, there is a key area where the S20 FE really outperforms its much more expensive sibling.

While the S20 FE does not have the 64-megapixel main camera of the standard Galaxy S20, it offers a similar triple-camera setup and surpasses the resolution for selfies of the S20 with its 32-megapixel front camera. Additionally, Samsung’s unique software features are also available on the S20 FE. For example, the ‘Single Shot’ mode captures multiple shots from each of the phone’s individual cameras, including multiple still images, videos, and short animations at the push of a button.
In addition to its excellent camera features, the S20 FE offers you a 6.5-inch 120Hz OLED, larger than the regular S20 and very rare at this price, as well as a massive 4,500mAh battery, versus the Galaxy S20’s 4000mAh. and the same Snapdragon 865 chipset used by the entire Galaxy S20 range, including the $ 1,400 Galaxy S20 Ultra ..
