US Ambassador to the United Nations Kelly Craft said in an interview with Al-Arabiya on Wednesday that another normalization agreement between Israel and an unidentified Arab country will happen in the next day or two.
When asked by the interviewer how soon, Craft said “well it could be today … there will be one in the next day or two … yeah so we’re very excited and we know others are going to follow, and what what We don’t want to do is not isolate anyone, but bring everyone in in the hope that this will allow Iranian citizens to see that the people really want peace in the Middle East and that they are part of this peace.
There was also much speculation after Sudanese transitional leader Adbel Fattah al-Burhan and Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok returned to Khartoum from Abu Dhabi on Wednesday without securing a final US aid deal and normalization of ties with Israel.
The other candidate, Oman, has also been touted as another potential country to normalize relations with Israel after an official representative of the Persian Gulf country was sent to the signing ceremony of the agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Israel in Washington, DC.
