Uganda’s Ministry of Health reported 143 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the national total to 5,266.

The capital Kampala recorded the highest number of 135 contacts and alerts with a total of 66 (48 percent), followed by Buikwe with 15 and Lira with 14. The remaining seven districts accounted for 40 of the remaining cases or about 30 percent. hundred.
