Hyundai has unveiled the fourth generation of its best-selling Tucson SUV. Its exterior design is a radical departure from previous generations, as is the high-tech interior. It will also be available as a hybrid, plug-in hybrid, mild hybrid.
The all-new Tucson is a global model that will be produced in various factories around the world.
Its larger and wider body gives it a more muscular stance and what Hyundai calls parametric dynamics.
The interior promises segment-leading technology with a 10.25-inch screen in the center of the vehicle that will be used to control all heating, ventilation and air conditioning functions by touch. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available.
The Tucson will include the latest version of Bluelink connected car services, including connected routes, last mile navigation and a new user profile feature. Drivers can also remotely locate, lock and unlock their vehicle and view vehicle attributes such as fuel level through a Bluetooth app.
In addition to electrified powertrains, Hyundai will also offer the new Tucson with a selection of non-electric motorized internal combustion engines.
