Nintendo has announced that a new third-party Nintendo Direct Mini will take place tomorrow, September 17, at 7am PT.
Announced on Twitter, Nintendo stated:

Since this is a third-party exclusive Nintendo Direct, don’t expect any Nintendo title to be announced. However, there is a lot of speculation about what we could see, including possible announcements of Bravely Default II or a new Monster Hunter title for Nintendo Switch.
