Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has confirmed that he wants to sign Memphis Depay this summer, but will only be able to make an offer once the club sells players. Depay has become Barça’s main target this summer, but there is a problem that delays the deal.

Barça is in the middle of a staff review after the appointment of Koeman.

Following the catastrophic end to their season with last month’s 8-2 loss to Bayern Munich and Quique Setien being fired, numerous players have left and are expected to do so before the window closes.

So far, they have parted ways with Arthur, in a trade agreement for Miralem. Pjanic – Ivan Rakitic, Arda Turan, Carles Pérez and Marc Cucurella.

He said, according to Fabrizio Romano: We need to sell players before we can sign Depay ”.

Barça have linked up with Georginio Wijnaldum as Frenkie de Jong’s new partner, but have Depay as their main target.

And their transfer policy could have ramifications for Liverpool, as it could arise that Barca choose not to make an offer for the midfielder if they prioritize the Lyon forward, with whom they have reportedly agreed personal terms.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas claimed that Barcelona bosses had told him that they couldn’t afford to make a move for the forward.
