As with almost any multiplayer game, Mediatonic has been working on how to deal with cheaters. And in a solution that seems suitable for the game, they have created an exclusive server for cheats called Cheater Island to pit them against each other.
Mediatonic announced this via the Fall Guys official Twitter. “For now … CLOSE UP,” reads the first tweet in a 21-tweet thread. “Let me tell you a wild story. It’s called The Rise and Fall of Trickster Island.”
I have a lot of interesting content for you this week – the development team has been very busy with the new update 👀

As the tweet thread explained, Mediatonic didn’t instantly ban the cheaters once they were found. Instead they collected data and once they got enough cheats they populated a separate server with just cheats.
“Our cheat detection system was good … but we players weren’t expecting it … and we had no idea how far some players would go to cheat,” a tweet reads. “We tried to create a system around ‘honesty’ … but as soon as we realized we were in a RACE OF ARMS, we called in the experts at Epic.”
