The former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion was interviewed and released by officials.

Since then, White has spoken out about McGregor’s situation at a press conference after UFC Fight Night: Waterson vs. Hill.

“Whether you are retired or not, you can get in trouble,” he said.

“I don’t know enough about Conor’s situation. I don’t know. I know what you’ve read.

“I’ve read the same things. Conor is retired, I haven’t spoken to him.

“I’m sure you don’t need my help or advice, but if you do, you can call,” he added.

Representatives for McGregor told TMZ Sports: “Conor McGregor strongly denies any allegations of misconduct.”

Audie Attar, CEO of Paradigm Sports Management, added: “I am furious and issue a strong and clear warning: Conor McGregor is not and will not be a target for those looking to land a headline or payday.”

McGregor hasn’t fought since his comeback win over Donald Cerrone at UFC 246 in January.

He subsequently walked away from the UFC after becoming frustrated with the promotion.
