The Call Of Duty Black Ops: Cold War multiplayer reveal showcased a variety of information about the upcoming Black Ops title. While the event was interesting to watch, the amount of information thrown at the audience was immense. Now, of course, no one is complaining about more information about an upcoming game. However, there are chances that people miss the little details.
These little details are extremely important to understand. For fans of the franchise, a lot is going to change with Cold War after Modern Warfare. From the gameplay to the game modes, everything is new but with a classic Black Ops twist.
Players who are starting out with COD now probably won’t like Cold War’s graphics. It is much more vibrant and colorful, but much less cinematic than Modern Warfare. Needless to say, all of the game images we’ve seen are from the alpha version. With this in mind, we can expect the game to improve a lot across all spectra that it seems to currently disappoint.

5 things you missed in the Call Of Duty Cold War multiplayer reveal
The return of Gunsmith– Gunsmith from Modern Warfare marks a comeback in Cold War. This fan-favorite item allows players to customize weapons to their liking. It provides a wide variety of accessories that can modify each weapon in a unique way that adapts to the different play styles of each and every player.
Slide cancellation– Sliding around the map in COD is one of the most common functions. Slip cancellation refers to running and crouching that allows players to slide and simply stop to exit. Surprisingly, players playing the alpha version experienced no aiming penalties for continuous sliding with uncontrolled movements.
The first feedback on our Alpha has been excellent! Professionals have told me about slide cancellation. Please note that right after this build was made, we fixed the slide cancellation abuse case that is being discussed. Beta will have appropriate slide cancellation penalties and much more.

Rest assured, the public beta will no longer exploit this slide bug.
More than two factions– Honestly, this isn’t that new since Black Ops 2. But people transitioning from Modern Warfare will probably find it strange. The factions we have seen so far are MI6, DGI, CIA, and Spetsnaz.
Classic modes held– With the introduction of three new modes, fans of the franchise were concerned if Treyarch was removing something. Treyarch has confirmed otherwise on their blog.
“FPlayers of traditional 6v6 combat can expect their favorite MP modes to return, including Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Free-for-All, Kill Confirmed, and Search & Destroy. Competitive fans will also be happy to hear that Control is back from Black Ops 4. “
Jugger-Nog Returns to Zombies– Everyone was waiting for new zombies to arrive with a new Black Ops game. That is exactly what is happening. On top of that, Jugger-nog is making a comeback after he was eliminated in BO4. So the buys and endings that can be bought are back with what looks like a more terrifying scenario in Zombies mode.
