Treyarch has revealed exactly what is new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War The multiplayer modes will be; And shooting fans are very excited about it.

Regular CoD players will immediately be familiar with the general multiplayer mode, but Black Ops Cold War will bring a revamped Create-a-Class system, faster gameplay, and an all-new Scorestreaks system.

Along with these small changes, there will also be new maps, weapons, perks, and game modes.

Of particular interest is the ship-to-ship combat mode. One of the coolest maps available is called Armada, which is only available in a new 64-player combo weapons mode. It takes place on several different warships floating in the Black Sea. The checkpoints are spread out over multiple locations, allowing the team to traverse the map via boats, zip lines, or old-fashioned swimming.

There’s a brand new game mode coming to Cold War, and it’s VIP Escort. Effectively, it is a protection mission in which a team needs to defend a VIP while moving to an extraction point. The other team tries to prevent that from happening, of course.

Black Ops Cold War will be the first Call of Duty game to land on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. It will also bring Warzone on the journey.

There is a beta for the new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War from October 8-12.
