Chinese smartphone maker OPPO has no intention of letting the grass grow under its feet when it comes to software updates, and the company said it would release ColorOS 11, its modified version of Android, which would be based on version 11. which was launched by Google. on Tuesday.
The new version of ColorOS will be released at 7pm AEDT on September 14. An updated public beta and deployment plans will also be released for OPPO users.

In a blog post On Tuesday, Dave Burke, Android Vice President of Engineering, listed the following features that are new to version 11;
“In Android 11, conversations through messaging applications will move to a dedicated space in the notifications section, which makes it easy to manage your conversations in one place;
“Bubbles makes multitasking on your device a breeze. Now you can respond to important conversations without having to switch between what you’re doing and your messaging app;
“Built-in screen recording is finally here – you can now capture and share what’s happening on your phone. Record with sound from your microphone, device, or both – no additional app required;
“Now you can access all your smart devices in one place, simply by long pressing the power button. Control your connected devices like thermostat or smart lock with one touch, so there is no need to open multiple apps.
“The media controls have been redesigned and are more useful than ever. Now you can quickly change the device your media is playing on, so you can take your music from your headphones to your speaker without missing a beat;
“Android Auto now works wirelessly for all Android 11 phones, as long as you have a compatible vehicle. So you can take the best of your phone on every trip while skipping the cable – get one-touch directions, talk to send a text message, play your favorite media, and get help from the Google Assistant;
“Unique permissions will allow you to grant one-time access to your most sensitive permissions: microphone, camera and location. The next time the application needs access to the sensors, it will need to ask for your permission again;
“If you haven’t used an app that you installed on your device in a while, you may not want it to continue accessing your data. Android will now” automatically reset “the permissions for apps you don’t use and notify you accordingly. You can always decide to re-grant the app permissions the next time you use the app;
