Users who turn to the web-based interface to plan a unit can now save it directly in the app with just a button in the browser, obviously provided they are logged in with the same account.
Based on your planned driving information, Waze will continue to monitor traffic conditions and send you notifications on your mobile phone to let you know when it’s time to go. This feature has been around for a while for scheduled units that were configured on smartphones, but starting this week, it is also offered for those that are configured on the desktop and synced to the mobile phone using this new feature.
Logging into the web interface now makes more sense, as users can also view their saved locations and therefore plan tours much easier.
“This not only alleviates the headache of entering your home address over and over again, it also allows for 7-day custom planning on the live map. The time you must leave on Monday can be very different from the time you must leave on Friday.”Explains the Waze team today in an announcement.
The new feature is available on both iPhone and Android with the latest updates, and to load the web-based interface, you can use any major browser available today, including Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari, and Mozilla Firefox.
