An asteroid, twice the size Pyramid of Giza to intersect Earth’s orbit today, September 6. It has been dubbed “rocky horrors” and “dangerous asteroid”. The asteroid is called the Apollo asteroid, due to its proximity to our planet.
This asteroid is called (465824) 2010 FR. It has a diameter of 162 meters according to the Center for the Study of Near-Earth Objects.
The asteroid was discovered on March 18 by the Catalina Sky Survey.
It is twice the size of Big Ben and travels at an exceptionally high speed of 14 km per second.

Virtual telescope project on the asteroid:

The Full Moon was not far in the sky, so the image was taken in less than ideal conditions: despite this, asteroid 2010 FR is well visible. At the time of taking the images, the asteroid (465824) 2010 FR was about 7.8 million kilometers from Earth and was slowly approaching us ”.
There is nothing to worry about, as NASA has ensured that there will be no collision. 2010 FR is not the first asteroid to cross Earth’s path. Every day small fragments of asteroids and comets called meteroids they virtually explode in the Earth’s atmosphere. This results in beautiful bright ‘meteor showers’.
