The last No time to die launched online a few hours ago and just as fans were hoping it packs a lot of action. The first preview was a balanced mix of action scenes, snap shots and cryptic phrases, which set the tone for the film – this will undoubtedly be James Bond’s most challenging and dangerous mission, one in which his own heart and the fate of the world is at stake.
This means unleashing more of the incredible action in the second trailer, which offers plenty of vehicular mayhem. And variety. You may have to look at this twice to get a proper glimpse of all the delights that go into it, but here they are in a nutshell: four Aston Martins, Land Rover Defenders galore, an old Toyota, an equally old but Maseratti. darker, crashes, chases, explosions and bullets. And an amazing jet plane that can double as a submarine.
A lot of new Defenders in formation go after 007, it takes a long time. They fly off the ground, roll barrels, shoot them, crash, and are eventually taken down by an old Toyota that looks like a ’90s Land Cruiser / Prado.
Another vintage makes a brief but impressive appearance early on – that’s a fourth-generation Maseratti Quattroporte, produced between 1993 and 2001, trying to crash into Bond. In that same scene, probably before jumping off the bridge to avoid the Quattroporte, Bond is seen making an impressive jump on a Triumph Scrambler 1200.
Then there are the Aston Martins, the largest number of James Bond cars of all time. The DB5 returns, this time with machine guns coming out of the headlights. Bond is also seen driving an ’80s V8 Coupe, new Agent 00 Nomi (Lashana Lynch, the supposed replacement for Daniel Craig in the title role) is seen at the wheel of a DBS Superleggera, while the Valhalla does a brief but memorable appearance. in a wind tunnel.
