South Korean gaming giant NCSoft Corp. will launch its new PC console and video game Fuser in the Americas and Europe on November 10.
Fuser, developed by the American video game company Harmonix and to be published by NCSoft, is a new form of interactive music rhythm game. It will be released across the three main console platforms: Play Statio 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and also on PC.
At Fuser, players take on the role of a concert DJ, where they can select record tracks or mix the sounds of the artists’ voices, baselines, and instruments to create a song of their own. There is also a feature that allows them to share their songs through social media.
NCSoft released 12 new songs that will be included in the game, including A-ha’s “Take on Me” and Ace of Base’s “The Sign.”
The company said that Fuser will host more than 100 songs from a wide range of genres, including pop, rap, hip-hop, R&B, dance, rock, alternative music and Latin pop.
NCWest, a wholly owned subsidiary of NCSoft, has begun receiving pre-orders for the game from major online gaming markets in Canada, the United States, and Europe.
