Update (Wednesday, September 2, 2020 01:35 BST): An update has been updated on the Ubisoft news page. officially confirmed Gods and monsters now known as Immortal Fenyx Rising.
This open-world action-adventure will be part of the upcoming Ubisoft Forward broadcast taking place on September 10.
The main show starts at 12:00 pm PDT, when you can see what’s in store for games like Watch Dogs: Legion, Hyper Scape, and Rainbow Six Siege, as well as a long-awaited update to our new IP, Immortals. Fenyx Rising, formerly known as Gods & Monsters, and more surprises yet to be revealed. Original article (Mon 31 Aug 2020 07:30 BST): The name of Ubisoft’s upcoming open-world action-adventure game, formerly known as Gods and monsters – may have been revealed earlier than expected.
According to a finding from the Taiwan Digital Games Classification Committee (by Gematsu), the committee recently classified “Immortal Fenyx Rising“for Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC and is believed to be the new title of Gods & Monsters.
Industry Analyst Daniel Ahmad has also intervened:
If this ends up being the name, we look forward to hearing more about the game on the next Ubisoft Forward stream in September. According to the Ubisoft store pages, this title will apparently launch in 2020: fingers crossed.
