Just yesterday, Honor confirmed that the X10 will arrive with a 90Hz display and a 180Hz touch digitizer. On the same news day, details of the X10’s camera were leaked along with information about a periscope camera. Today, Honor took a couple of photo samples, some of which were taken with the Honor X10. The photos were posted on Honor’s Weibo ID and show the phone’s low light capabilities.
The post also details the conditions of the filming location, which was directly opposite Mount Everest. The temperature was minus 20 C and at 5,200 meters above sea level. The scene seems pretty dark since it was 1:52 AM.

Taking these conditions into account, the captured details look well detailed in the snowy parts of the near bottom and left side of the frame. The mountain peak in the distance is also clearly seen. You can also clearly see the reflection of moonlight in the water. In general, the image looks natural, but it seems that the real life brightness of the scene is between the first and second images.
Judging from these photos (which were compressed when loaded), the 40MP IMX600Y worked particularly well to capture the scene. The Honor X10 is equipped with a RYYB filter, making the camera more light sensitive and this main camera setup is based on the same main camera as the Huawei P30 Pro.
Honor X10 Pro is expected to be fully announced on May 20. It is powered by Kirin 820 chipset and is expected to arrive with support for 5G. Reports suggest an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. Other reported specs include a 6.63-inch FHD + LCD display, 4300 mAh battery with 22.5W fast charge support, 6GB + 64GB memory, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
