Next year Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla You are ready to dive deep into Scandinavian tradition with an additional story quest based on the legendary hero Beowulf.

Downloadable content from “The Legend Of Beowulf” will be part of the game’s Season Pass, according to the German store Ubisoft. In the Overview section, the description reads: “Includes Story Mission: The Legend of Beowulf. Uncover the cruel truth behind the legend.”

The game will take place in the Viking era and will see the Norse take on the British, so it is not at all surprising that the DLC expands into the Scandinavian tradition. The Legend of Beowulf is an epic poem in Old English that follows the titular Beowulf, a warrior who saves the King of the Danes from a vicious monster named Grendel.

Another additional quest, the Path of the Berserker, will be available to those who pre-order the game before its release later this year. Multiple pre-order packages for current generation consoles are now available for ordering.

The film debut trailer reveals winks to several recurring themes in new editions of Assassin’s Creed series, including sea voyages, conquest battles, and of course a Hidden Blade, the assassin’s preferred weapon.

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla It is slated to launch later this year on PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia. A release date for the game has not been released, although it was recently confirmed that the game will not be released on Steam.
