The space is amazing. Fortunately, we have science to reveal all the wonderful discoveries made beyond Earth’s surface. Now, thanks to a technique called “Lucky images” We can see a super clear image of Jupiter.
The process of “Image of luck” It involves taking numerous images of the planet in multiple exposures in one night, and keeping the sharpest ones that are not blurred by Earth’s atmosphere. This was done in May of last year, and now we have the final image to show.

The crystalline image of Jupiter exists thanks to NASA’s Hubble telescope along with the Juno space probe that orbits the planet, and it is a vision.
The hundreds of photos taken by the Gemini North Telescope in Hawaii were compiled to produce infrared capture in order to see beyond Jupiter’s hazy atmosphere.
“From a set of lucky images from 38 exposures taken at each point, the research team selected the sharpest 10 percent, combining them to form one-ninth of Jupiter’s disk.” The observatory statement says.
“The stacks of exposures at the nine points were combined to obtain a clear and comprehensive view of the planet.”
Before this image was created, scientists thought that the dark spots on Jupiter were color variations, however, they now know that they are actually holes in the clouds.
Leading the project was Michael Wong of UC Berkeley, who said the images “Rival with the view from space”.
“You see bright infrared light coming from cloud-free areas, but where there are clouds, it’s really dark in the infrared.” Explained the final image.
Pretty cool, we recognize. And who says that the image cannot be improved with the available science; We may know what Jupiter looks like in its entirety sooner than we think.
