An upcoming Switch release that you may have forgotten is The Elder Scrolls: Blades by Bethesda. This free title originally designed for Android and iOS devices was announced for the Nintendo hybrid platform at E3 last year and then delayed until early 2020. During the Mini Direct presentation in March, it was re-confirmed and released from “Spring”.

According to the latest Nintendo Download summary for North America, it will arrive on May 12, which is obviously early next week. While it originally seemed somewhat certain, this release date has now apparently been removed from Nintendo’s North American press site and official game page for Nintendo UK (thanks for the notice, Nintendo Everything).

If it ends up launching on Switch eShop next week, gamers can expect motion control support, cross-platform PvP matches, and cross progression, meaning you can continue your gaming session on Switch or a mobile device. An online connection will also be required to play the game.
