Bungie will review the rewards in Destiny 2 and make changes to the Eververse store

Bungie has had mixed success with his seasonal content plans lately, particularly when it comes to finding rare, new, or unique gear. This has also led to complaints about Eververse, which has been at odds with the game’s balance for a while.

As part of this week’s Bungie update, the studio officially addressed the Eververse and the need for more “aspirational activities”:

“As you know, the rewards for your character come from a variety of places: playlists where you find random people to play, aspirational activities like raids, trials, and dungeons where you form a Fireteam and even Eververse, where you drop some Silver or Bright Dust on us. return the items you want. However, in today’s Destiny 2, the game’s balance of rewards isn’t where we want it to be. To be frank, there is not enough persecution in the world. Let’s fix it. “

As part of Destiny 2 Year 4, Bungie will add transmogification to Destiny 2, allowing you to turn your favorite armor into universal embellishments. Bungie also plans to offer an aspiring armor quest every season, for all players, not just season pass holders or people who shop at the Eververse.

Raids, Trials, and Dungeons will reward players with power, items, and vanity rewards. New armor rewards are also being added to various activities. Finally, starting in Season 12, Bungie will no longer sell ships, ghost shells, sparrows, or armor ornaments in Eververse that are based on aspirational activity themes, pushing players to engage more in challenging content.

There’s a lot more to digest in the full Bungie update, including changes to Dust, Engrams, and rewards in the main playlist modes.

KitGuru says: Destiny 2 has needed to change its rewards scheme for a while, so it’s good to see this being addressed. Did many of you continue to play Destiny 2? What do you think of the upcoming rewards changes?
