Three new cases of COVID 19 were confirmed in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health revealed on Monday. During the indicated time, samples from 396 people have been examined.
All new cases are under the age of twenty (11, 15 and 18). Two of them had a history of travel to Djibouti, the worst affected country in the Horn of Africa.
One of the patients had no travel history, but was exposed to an infected person. The Ministry of Health encouraged people who had contact with an infected person to inform the relevant authorities.
Those patients with a history of travel to Djibouti were quarantined for two weeks.
As of April 20, 2020, a total of 7,953 people have been screened for Coronavirus disease in the country. The number of confirmed cases has now reached 111.
Patients undergoing treatment at the designated COVID 19 patient treatment center are now 90 years old, but only one is in the Intensive Care Unit. Sixteen patients have fully recovered. Three patients died from it.
