Jadon Sancho ‘accepts Man Utd transfer’ as Red Devils approaches Borussia Dortmund star

Manchester United have reportedly made tremendous progress in their search for Jadon Sancho, and the ace from England is believed to have agreed to a trade on Old Trafford.

The 20-year-old Borussia Dortmund winger has had another excellent season in the Bundesliga, scoring 15 goals and creating 16 assists.

That giddy form has seen him linked to a return to the Premier League, after the London-born winger left Manchester City at 17, and United appear to have outscored rivals Chelsea.

The Sun reports that Sancho has agreed on almost every detail of a move to Old Trafford, including the length of his contract, salary, bonuses, and a large purchase clause.

It seems likely that Jadon Sancho will join Manchester United

The talks are said to have been ongoing for several months and United has finally found a breakthrough with Sancho and his representatives.

The united bosses must now turn their attention to Dortmund in an attempt to agree on a fee for the highly-skilled striker.

Dortmund is believed to bear a fee that would exceed the £ 89 million Juventus paid for Paul Pogba four years ago.

Sancho could bond with Marcus Rashford (L), who plays his club’s soccer for United

Sancho started his career at United’s bitter rival Manchester City, but moved to Germany in 2017 after struggling to enter the first team.

Since then, he has become one of the most coveted young players in the world, and has also entered the England team, having won 11 matches with Gareth Southgate.

Sancho seemed to further hint at a move to United during a recent live Instagram Q&A. When a user asked him to take a sip from his water bottle if he was moving to Old Trafford, he did it on the sly, causing the collapse of social media.

And his international teammate Marcus Rashford did little to minimize speculation when asked recently about the possibility of bonding with Sancho at the club level.

Speaking in an Instagram Q&A with the Bleacher Report, Rashford said: “Obviously it would be nice, Sancho is a great player, a new generation player.”

“It is definitely exciting to see the player he is becoming. I hope we can all play together, that would be good.”
