Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s “turning point” in leaving real life came when they enjoyed dancing “down to earth” with the locals during their royal tour of South Africa, experts say

The public saw a “new side” of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the first day of their African tour, an expert said.
The ‘turning point’ came when Prince Harry, 35, and Meghan Markle, 38, were seen dancing and laughing with the locals when they visited a Justice Table initiative in Nyanga Township, during their tour by South Africa on September 23, 2019 in Cabo Pueblo, according to Christine Ross, editor of the blog Meghan’s Mirror.
“She (Meghan) was dancing with the kids and it was such a stark contrast to some of the events we had seen before her pregnancy,” she said., speaking on the actual Mirror’s Pod Save the Queen podcast.
“She’s in this very affordable dress, she’s in affordable wedges, her hair is in a ponytail, she’s dancing with kids.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex during their visit to the Canada House in central London, meeting with the United Kingdom’s High Commissioner for Canada, Janice Charette, on March 31, after it was revealed that they will backtrack as members of royalty.
She continued: “We didn’t know what we know now, but I think that moment and that look was a turning point in their roles, that these high-glamor royals weren’t going to be anymore,” added Christine.
“They wanted to be more down-to-earth, with people, dancing with the kids, hanging out with the crowd.”
The duchess wore a dress designed by Malawi-based sustainable fashion brand Mayamiko, and the couple sported matching ‘Justice Desk’ bead bracelets as they greeted the locals.
“I love that wrap dress because it’s not a real color,” explained Christine. ‘… She still showed a very normal postpartum body that many women around the world appreciated and that outfit for me, especially since it marked the beginning of the tour, was a turning point in her relationship with her role as a duchess.

It comes after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were photographed in Los Angeles for the first time after their recent move.
The duke and duchess were seen delivering food packages on behalf of the Los Angeles-based Angel Food nonprofit project on Wednesday.
Harry and Meghan were captured by surveillance cameras arriving at the Sierra Bonita Community Apartments in West Hollywood in their SUV at 10:55 a.m.
A security team accompanied the couple in a separate SUV that followed closely behind, but they chose to walk to the apartment to deliver the food alone.
Dressed casually in jeans, Harry and Meghan followed the new California rules regarding facial covers, issued by Governor Gavin Newsom on April 15.
