Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has sent a video to club staff members to share their appreciation for their hard work amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
Maguire, who joined United from Leicester last summer for a fee of £ 80 million, has been an active member in his local community recently, and recently organized the distribution of food packages to seniors in his native Sheffield.
The 27-year-old also played a key role in the formation of #PlayersTogether, the movement through which players donate part of their wages to the NHS.
And Maguire has now tried to give United employees a boost with a video that sent all club members from their couch.

In it, he said, “Hi guys. I hope everyone is well. I just want to say hi and thank you.
“I know many of you are working from home, which is not easy at this difficult time, but keep up the good work.”
“Also, the people who volunteer for the NHS and who work in your local communities, we are really proud of you, so keep it up. It’s just a big thank you from me and from all the players and the whole club. “
“Hopefully we can get back to normal soon and everyone can get back to their own business and we can move forward.”

Maguire has been widely praised for his contributions during the confinement period, and is clearly interested in giving back to the community during this difficult time.
The England center-back was named captain in January after Ashley Young moved to Inter Milan, and he appears to be enjoying his role as leader.
