LYNN (CBS) – From the filming of a music video to a violent shooting on the street.

Six people were shot in the Quincy Terrace area of ​​Lynn on Saturday while recording a music video, and two people suffer “life-threatening injuries,” according to the Lynn Police Department.

Authorities say the victims were between 24 and 30 years old and no arrests have yet been made.

Police responded to the area around 5:30 p.m. after receiving calls about shooting.

A man was smoking a cigarette on his porch when the shots broke out.

“I heard a spray,” said witness Virgil Vanover. “It was like maybe two seconds of gunfire and all I see five seconds later was people running down the street.”

After police arrived, four shooting victims were taken to Mass General Hospital, while two were taken to Salem Hospital.

Kelly Ford captured video on a cell phone after the shooting that showed an injured man on the ground. He said that after a block, the police were rendering first aid to another victim.

A portion of Washington Street near Quincy Terrace was blocked by crime scene tape for hours as detectives searched the area for evidence.

It was a terrifying night for Philip Kevin Barrows.

“It was a panic and the next thing you know, there were police officers everywhere. We had an ambulance, a fire station and police there. It was crazy, ”he said.

Evidence markers littered the driveway as detectives went door-to-door interviewing witnesses.

As Lynn police search for the shooter, neighbors say it was a terrifying experience.

“It made me nervous. It made everyone on the street nervous, ”Vanover said.

Lynn Police and State Police are still investigating the shooting.
