If you loved MagSafe years ago as a way to charge your Mac without jeopardizing its existence, Apple’s “Hi Speed” event on October 13 could make you very happy. Also, of course, if you are looking for a new iPhone.

According to “Kang,” a repeat Chinese leaker with a 98% accuracy rating in 46 previous leaks, Apple will release the following in four days:
- HomePod Mini
- MagSafe chargers
- iPhone 12 Mini
- iPhone 12
- iPhone 12 Pro
- iPhone 12 Max
The HomePod mini will be smaller (surprisingly) at just 3.3 inches tall, about half the height of the HomePod, will use a chip from last year’s Apple Watch, and will be priced at $ 99. That’s an easier entry point. than HomePod’s $ 300 price tag, and it helps Apple compete against entry-level speakers Amazon Echo, Google Home, and Sonos.
Kang also says that Apple will introduce new MagSafe chargers, but it looks like they will be for iPhones, not MacBooks, and could be related to wireless charging cases.
MagSafe chargers, which Apple hasn’t shipped in years, are attached to MacBooks using magnets so they’re easily pulled out when someone kicks on your cable. Many Apple customers have mourned his disappearance.
The iPhone 12 Mini might be the most interesting phone Apple will release, bringing back a smaller form factor that many have overlooked since the days of the iPhone 4 and 5. It won’t be that small, Kang says. a 5.4-inch screen, but it’s smaller than the currently marketed iPhone 11, which measures 6.1 inches. Kang says it will cost $ 699 and will launch in mid-November.
Not the iPhone 12s
Interestingly, it will have dual cameras, just like the iPhone 12, so you won’t sacrifice camera quality for a phone that fits your pocket better.

The iPhone 12 will be the same size as the existing iPhone 11, Kang says, will be available in October and will cost $ 799. It seems pretty much in line with what we expected, but don’t bet the farm. One thing missing from what many Apple watchers have predicted is Apple’s new headphones, which may still arrive or may be announced later.
One thing I’ll say: give me an iPhone Mini with 5X zoom and I’m sold. That, of course, will remain science fiction for a few more years, I’m sure.
