Elvis’ grandson girlfriend Benjamin Keough yelled ‘don’t do it’ before suicide

Benjamin Keough’s neighbor said the 27-year-old’s distressed girlfriend screamed “don’t do it” before shooting himself in the chest on Sunday morning.

The grandson of icon Elvis Presley was pronounced dead in his $ 1.8 million California mansion after suffering a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

In an audio heard by Daily Mail, a neighbor heard parties at the residence at 1 a.m. and a woman, suspected of being Ben’s girlfriend, was yelling “don’t do it” around 3:30 a.m.

The news outlet also reports that another local said authorities arrived at the scene around 6 a.m.

The resident said police questioned a visibly devastated woman, who is believed to be his girlfriend, just hours after her death.

Benjamin Keough died of an apparent suicide on Sunday morning.

The neighbor alleged: “I could hear someone talking very loudly in the backyard. I looked outside and saw what appeared to be his girlfriend outside talking to the police, and she was pretty hysterical saying ‘I can’t believe it.’

“She kept cursing and saying, ‘I can’t believe it, I can’t believe it.'” She said, “I can’t believe he does that to himself.”

The neighbor added: “She said: ‘The family is going to hate me’ and ‘They are going to blame me.’ I think he felt guilty about it happening … but I don’t want to speculate (as to) what caused it. That was around 6.30-7am. They were out there for about an hour talking.

The tragic loss of the son of Lisa Marie and Danny Keough has left her mother “heartbroken”.

In a statement, Lisa Marie’s manager Roger Widynowsk declared his son “the love of his life.”

Lisa Marie was ‘more than devastated’

“She is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and more than devastated, but she tries to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and older daughter Riley,” she said.

“She adored that boy. He was the love of her life.”

Benjamin was mostly kept out of the spotlight for much of his life, but signed a $ 5 million record deal when he was a teenager.

He reached an agreement in 2009, but it seems that he never made the big moment with his musical career and his production remains relatively unknown.

What Ben was best known for was having a strange resemblance to his famous grandfather, known as The King.
