Ellen DeGeneres makes employee cry in a 2009 retweeted tweet

Ellen DeGeneres had made one of her employees scream, as revealed in one of her old tweets.

The talk show host had tweeted in 2009, “I made one of my co-workers cry like a baby on today’s show. Honestly, it felt good. ”

According to a source cited by Page Six, the tweet was actually made in reference to the employee of Ellen Jeannie Klisiewicz, who surprised the host with a cruise on the air.

Ellen had hired Klisiewicz in 2008, after she wrote to the show to ask for a job.

After a year of working, Ellen wanted to “do something special for her” because of her positive attitude and because she had attended every game and never won.

The emotional segment aired three years ago on EllenTube.

The video came after Ellen made an apology over claims of sexual harassment and toxicity during the ouster of three producers.

In a call from Zoom Monday, she said she had no clue as to where the rumored rule for no eye contact began and that she would work to interact more with her staff.
