Elizebeth Hurley’s son Damian Hurley is turning to social media to thank fans for their love and support following the death of his father, Steve Bing.
“I would like to thank you again for your overwhelming kindness in the past few days,” the 18-year-old aspiring actor and model wrote on Instagram. “Your love and support have helped me a lot during this difficult time.”
Bing, a film financier and philanthropist, died of suicide on June 22, the Los Angeles County Department of Medicine coroner confirmed. He was 55 years old.
Earlier this week, Damian posted a photo of a sunset, along with a caption thanking people who had contacted him to express their condolences.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all who have communicated after the devastating news,” he wrote. “I am trying to answer as many as I can, but keep in mind that I will always remember your kindness. This is a very strange and confusing moment and I am immensely grateful to be surrounded by my great family and friends.” “
Bing was a businessman who wrote the 2003 movie “Kangaroo Jack”. He also financed and produced films such as Sylvester Stallone’s 2000 remake of “Get Carter”, “The Polar Express” and “Kingsman: The Golden Circle”.
On Instagram on Tuesday, Hurley posted several photos of herself and Bing.
“It saddens me to believe that my ex Steve is no longer with us. It’s a terrible ending, “she captioned the photos.” Our time together was very happy and I’m posting these photos because although we are going through difficult times, what matters are the good and wonderful memories of a sweet and kind man. “
“Last year we were close again. The last time we spoke was on our son’s 18th birthday. This is devastating news and I thank everyone for their adorable messages, “he added.
In addition to Damian, Bing is survived by a daughter, Kira Bonder, who she shared with former professional tennis player Lisa Bonder.
