Eleven major deaths have been reported since the Maine CDC reported 402 new coronavirus cases


Augusta, Maine (WABI) – The Maine CDC on Saturday registered 402 new cases of COVID-19 in the state.

11 more miners died from coronavirus. Three deaths have been reported in Androskogin County and Canebeck County. Cumberland, York, Penobskot, Hancock and Franklin each reported additional deaths.

11 new deaths bring the total to 292 since the onset of the epidemic.

Since the epidemic began, Maine has received 16,266 confirmations, out of 18,739 overall covid-19 cases. The remaining possible cases are considered.

Recoveries now total 10,766, an increase of 22 from Friday.

The largest increase in overnight cases occurred with 145 in Cumberland County.

Penobascot is filing 37 new cases.

There are 32 in Kennebeck County.

Double-digit cases have increased in 12 of the 16 counties.
