The iconic guitarist was betting on his brother, Alex van Halen, In its 2000 Ferrari 550. The 6-speed race car is equipped with custom racing seats and comes with an original registration in Eddie’s name.
Eddie’s old Ferrari is crashing into an auction block on GotaHaverock and ndrol.com and looks like it’s still in a state of disarray … The auction house says it was recently whipped by a top Ferrari mechanic and Eddie always takes care of it. Plus, it only has 28,000 miles.
Bidding begins Wednesday and runs through Dec. 4, and Ferrari expects between $ 250,000 and $ 350,000.
Van Halen is going to sell Memorabilia at the same auction … including a concert ticket, album sleeve and a CD signed by Eddie, Alex, Michael Anthony And David Lee Roth, Plus the guitar peak used on the AD stage.
