Eagles Practice Squad Tracker: The Eagles are preparing to form their 17-member squad

The Eagles made all the necessary cuts to reach their roster of 53 players by the deadline of 4pm on Saturday, but they are not complete yet.

That 53-man roster will make a lot of changes in the next 24 hours.

And the Eagles will also keep their practice team together. This year, the practice squads were expanded to 16 players and six of them could be players. The Eagles’ practice team will have 17 players, including Matt Leo, who is receiving international release.

Here are the players who are reportedly joining their practice team:

WR Dionte Burnett (Dave Zangaro)

The Eagles added USC production Burnett to their practice squad last December and then made a big catch of 41 yards at the end of the regular season. Burnett can play. And he showed that this training camp, when he made a wonderful catch after a wonderful catch. With injuries to the Eagles at WR, there is a good chance that Burnett could end up on an active roster and play in Week 1.

C. Luke Juriga (Mike Kaye)

The Eagles paid the UDFA the most money of all their undefeated free agents from western Michigan. The Eagles had just eight offensive linemen on their active roster.

Ji su opeta (Dave Zangaro)

Eagle signed Opeta as a UPFA from Weber State last year and eventually added him to the active roster. It will launch on PS this year.

De Joe Ostman (Zach Burman)

St Stamen had a tremendous training camp, did everything he could, but he still didn’t make the Eagles roster. He will start this season in the practice team.

WR Travis Fulgham (Zach Burman)

The Eagles claimed Fulgam (6-2, 215) on 20 Aug Gust and had some good moments in training camp. It is a big-body receiver that makes good use of that body.

The Eagles forgave 12 players on Thursday for taking the leap to build their practice squad. They brought eight players for a “visit” on Saturday, which is just the beginning of the COVID-19 tests they took before they could possibly sign on the team.
