Dillard had worked with the first team at the helm as he walked from the field to the sideline and was controlled by a coach. Dillard and the trainer then went into a medical tent outside the facility before coming to the building. Dillard did not return.
With the pick of the first round of 2019, Jason Peters surprisingly remained on his position of right guard. Jordan Mailata took the governments in place of the first team left. The group was already without a proper approach Lane Johnson (lower body) due to an injury. Johnson, who was replaced by Matt Pryor on the right, is referred to as “day-to-day” and was seen on the practice field despite the injury.
While Johnson was added to the injury list, the Eagles got some good news with tight ends Dallas Goedert (finger) and Zach Ertz (upper body) and running Boston Scott (lower body) back to practice. Wide receivers Jalen Reagor and Deontay Burnett, cornerback Rasul Douglas and defensive end Shareef Miller all returned to practice even after being discharged Friday night due to illness.
Back back Corey Clement, defensive end Vinny Curry, wide receiver John Hightower and defensive tackles Anthony Rush and Hassan Ridgeway were all crippled with illnesses. Those indications are remarkable after the NFL’s discovery of several false-positive test results from a lab in New Jersey that the Eagles also use.
However, despite the scare of coronavirus testing, the Eagles have been extra careful with players who have symptoms of illness during training camp. Those players could have problems with colds like a stomach, and the Eagles do not want to risk the potential spread of coronavirus, so they keep these players out.
The Eagles also announced famous update updates for tight end Josh Perkins (upper body) and wide receiver Rob Davis (lower body). Perkins is out indefinitely, while Davis is listed as “week-to-week.” Both injuries could force the duo off the roster. Perkins competes to keep the No. 3 tight end track, while Davis tries to sneak to the bottom of the receiver’s wide depth chart.
Back running back Miles Sanders (lower body), cornerback Sidney Jones (lower boy), defensive tackle Javon Hargrave (pec) and defensive end Derek Barnett (single) remained out of work. All four players have now missed multiple practice sessions.
