A source told People, “They are really grateful to Tyler Perry for his kindness,” after the director gave the couple the use of his property when they first moved to the United States. “They have endless gratitude for him for helping them in a complicated time,” the source continued.

What’s more, Meghan and Harry are especially grateful for Perry’s support during such a challenging few months. “With COVID and when they returned from their royal duties, he provided them with a safe haven,” the source explained.

A spokesman for the couple revealed recently Folk that the Sussexes did well after their move to Santa Barbara. “They have established themselves in the quiet privacy of their community since their arrival and hope this will be respected for their neighbors as well as for them as a family,” her spokeswoman explained.
