Dr Pepper confirms soda deficiency amid COVID-19 pandemic

We all know about the shortage of toilet paper, but what about the shortage of Dr Pepper?

Now nationally known, the iconic soda made in 1885 by a pharmacist in Waco holds a special place in the hearts of Texans.

Fans of Dr. Pepper say it’s getting harder to find.

Dr Pepper tweeted an acknowledgment, saying they are working to preserve planks while keeping their employees safe during the pandemic.

“We appreciate your patience and encourage you to contact your local retailer immediately for the most current availability of Dr. Pepper products,” the statement read.

The shortage applies to all of Dr Pepper’s flavors, including the latest Dr Pepper and Cream Soda flavors, according to the brand.

Toilet paper company Charmin wisely replied, “Welcome to the club. We feel your pain.”
