Dr. Dre’s wife Nicole Young files for divorce after 24 years of marriage: reports


Rapper and business magnate Dr. Dre and his wife of 24 years are done.

Nicole Young, the wife of Aftermath Entertainment chief Honcho whose real name is Andre Young, moved to dissolve her marriage to the Beats by Dre co-founder citing irreconcilable differences, multiple reports said Monday.

Dre, 55, and Young, 50, have a historical record in their almost 25 years and were married for the first time on May 25, 1996, and they share two children, their son Truice, 23, and their daughter. Truly, 19, together. Since they are both adults, child support is not required in divided negotiations.

For her part, Young, who is a public defender, also seeks spousal support and is represented by high-powered celebrity divorce attorney Samantha Spector.

Dre and his surviving members of the NWA Ice Cube cohort, MC Ren and DJ Yella were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April 2016.
