Dozens of early for free COVID-19 vaccines in Lee County


Lee County, Fla. – The Florida Department of Health in Lee County will provide the Modern CV Weed-19 vaccine from the most sensitive start, Dec. 28.

On December 27, dozens of cars camped overnight to keep their location in line.

High-risk frontline healthcare workers and those 65 and older will be eligible to be vaccinated at vaccination sites. The health department in Lee County will have 300 doses of the vaccine at each site.

The vaccine will be free and no appointment is required. Patients will need to bring a copy of the ID or ID badge or a copy of the ID badge or ID showing proof of age, the health department said.

The modern vaccine must be given a second dose at least 28 days after the first dose.
