Dolly Lee Parton is opening up about her decades-long musical career.
Despite the limitations the coronavirus epidemic has put on the live show, the 74-year-old country icon has been a very busy bee in 2020. Last month, the singer-songwriter released her first Christmas album in three decades, and she will spread the holiday excitement for her fans on the upcoming “Holy Day Christmas” TV special on CBS.
While pressing for her new album, Kroner discusses many of her life’s main goals, including her long-term marriage to her husband Carl Dean, as well as her upcoming 75th birthday. Speaking about her family with Oprah Winfrey, Parton explained how children do not affect her career.
“Since I had no children, and my husband was very independent, so I got freedom,” Parton told the TV icon on “The Oprah Conversion” on Apple Paul TV by People.

“So I think a big part of my overall success is the fact that I was free to work,” the entertainer said.
Parton said he believes not having children is part of God’s plan for him.
“I didn’t have kids because I believe God doesn’t mean for my kids so everyone’s kids can be mine, so I can do things like a fantasy library because if I didn’t have the freedom to work, he said,‘ All I did was Didn’t do things. ‘ “I wouldn’t be in a position to do the things I’m doing right now.”
Parton’s Concept Library provides free books to children born and raised in communities around the U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Australia and the Republic of Ireland.

The music icon is also known to be the godmother of singer Miley Cyrus.
Parton was also asked if the “sacrifice” in his life was greater than the rewards of his career. She replied, “I have made sacrifices, but I feel, as I said, I believe I know what I have to do.”

In the same interview, Winfrey questioned the artist about turning 75 in early 2021. Parton revealed that he doesn’t even have time to think about getting older.
Parton said, provoking Winfrey’s laughter, “First of all, I never get old, because I don’t have time to get old. I can’t stop getting old for long.”

He also assured the host that if he made it another 20 years, he would not worry about old age.
“I’ll prepare the makeup. My plastic surgeons will allow me to look as young as possible and [with] All the makeup and lighting and all that. “But I think more than anything, it’s about what comes from inside you,” Parten said at the outlet.
