Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have started again in Los Angeles, but a number of obstacles seem to still be on their way.
As the Duke and Duchess of Sussex jump through the hoops to achieve their American dream, it looks like they would have to pause their plans as Harry’s citizenship has stagnated by now.
The couple are reported to have put their plans to launch into the United States on ice for the time being after the coronavirus pandemic has ruined their lives.
According to a real source cited by the Times“The duke has not filed for dual citizenship and I do not think he will apply for a green card at any time.”
If Harry files an application for US citizenship, he may have to give up his titles at the same time that he is forced to tax his earnings.
It is also unclear whether the duke was granted a special or diplomatic visa or whether he has been living in the United States under the 90-day visa waiver program for the British.
