Cincinnati Bengals’ new defensive lineman DJ Reader has come out of virtual meetings with players and coaches impressed with Joe Burrow.
It’s not that players or coaches are impressed with Burrow, it’s an amazing development right now. He has already been a clear leader in virtual meetings and his understanding of the mental side of the game has impressed coaches.
But Reader knitted in Burrow’s presence on social media, meeting actions, and said he hopes to help him grow as a player during an interview with GMFB:
“Zoom has been really good at meetings and stuff. Very calm, he does not say much at the moment … What I like most about him is that he defends what he believes in, he cares for many people, you can see that he is passionate about what he is doing … from what I have seen until now he takes himself the right way. … I am excited to get there and see it grow, be part of its growth. I hope I can push it and improve it a little bit. ”
Reader knows everything about being around promising young passers-by after their days in Houston with Deshaun Watson. If you already like what you see of Burrow, that’s probably a good sign.
And aside from the talk, the fact that Reader will be pushing Burrow onto the field soon is also good given the star defensive lineman’s fondness for chasing passersby.
