Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman DJ Fluker has allegedly been a repeat victim of domestic violence, according to police reports obtained by Fox Baltimore. Police responded to an incident on July 13 that involved 29-year-old police informant that his girlfriend, Kimberly Davis, had assaulted him by hitting his nose during a heated discussion stemming from something that happened on social media. The incident in question occurred in Reisterstown, Maryland, as Fluker prepares to make his offensive line debut for the Ravens in 2020. Police also note the account confirmation by a witness, and images of Fluker taken at The scene shows that he has a bloody nose along with blood on his hands from trying to stop the bleeding.

Davis denies that he had malicious intent, stating that he “hit” Fluker in the nose instead of hitting him, as alleged. Police arrested Davis at the scene and charged her with a second-degree simple assault.

The Ravens are aware of the incident.

“We have been in regular communication with DJ on this matter and will continue to monitor the situation,” the team said in an official statement.

Fluker also informed police that the incident was not the first time Davis allegedly assaulted him, and a video obtained by Fox Baltimore shows Davis repeatedly hitting Fluker in June in another heated argument based on his daughter’s care. The incident involving Fluker is as wide-ranging as that of Ravens teammate Earl Thomas, whose wife was arrested after allegedly carrying a gun to his head after an accusation of infidelity. Thomas issued a statement not long after news of the altercation broke.

“Instead of talking about us, keep us in all your prayers,” said Thomas. “Things like this happen, brother. We try to live the best life possible. Sometimes it doesn’t go as planned. Just pray for us as we go through this.”

Fluker himself has not released a statement, and the charges are pending for Davis.
