The falcon and the winter soldier Marvel Studios’ grand TV universe was supposed to start on Disney Plus in August, but the show’s debut was officially delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The delay comes after the program was forced to stop production in May due to the pandemic, The edge Has confirmed. Disney does not have a new release date for the show, but hopes to share updates soon. The falcon and the winter soldier was configured to pick up where Avengers Endgame finished Steve Rogers’ Captain America appears to have essentially retired after living a different life on an alternate timeline, and Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) takes the shield instead.

Black widow moved from May 1 to November 6, while The eternal changed from November 6 to February 12, 2021. It is unclear whether Marvel Studios’ WandaVision, which moved from 2021 to December 2020, will also be affected.
Many studios and television networks face delays as production problems continue, especially in the United States. Disney CEO Bob Chapek told staff at an all-hands meeting that they hoped to return to production soon, but it all depends on when people can safely return to work.
