Dex Shepard revealed that he returned after 16 years of recovery

The revelation came on Friday during the latest episode of their popular podcast “Armchair Expert”.

“I hope I never need to record an episode, but one feels like I’m the mother of all the beautiful armchairs I’ve had on all these rides for the last few years,” Shepard said in an Instagram post announcing the episode.

In the episode, Shepard – known for his roles on “Parenthood” – details his journey, most recently Wikidin, associated with the opioid painkiller addiction. For the past eight weeks, he said, he had been “on them all day” after he was originally taken away for injuries.

This led to a situation where he would take “eight 30s a day, you know, and I know it’s an amount that will result in very bad withdrawals. And I’m starting to get really scared, and I’m really starting to feel I’m alone. And I just have this huge secret. ”

Shepherd initially said he dropped the pills and slowly tried to fix the problem himself – but it didn’t work.

But this month he revealed his addiction to wife Kristen Bell and her friends. As of Friday, it remains quiet 11 times more than once a day.

Shepard has previously dealt with cocaine and alcohol addiction, saying he has not touched in 16 years. The actor is open about his recovery journey, discussing his past on his podcasts and in interviews.
