Although the video shows rapper Paper Fassett, Nivi Kiri Kendrel Cafes, who was removed from his vehicle by police in Beverly Hills on Saturday, officials say he was not arrested after confirming the arrest.
Earlier in the story the police had reported in an original statement that Set Faset had been arrested.
In the Instagram live video, Set Fassett can be told he won’t move his hand from the steering wheel when officers approach him and ask him to stop his car. “We were told you people were firing guns at people,” says one official.
“You just saw someone hit my car with a flag. What are you talking about?” Set facet responds.
Later, an officer tells him not to move and arrives in the rapper’s vehicle.
“It’s not legal, you just can’t open my door,” repeats Seth Fassett when he is detained.
More than 30,000 people watched the Instagram video.
Police say everyone in Set Faset’s car was detained for questioning. Leften. Max Subin said one of the men in his vehicle, Marcelo Almanzar, was arrested and charged with possessing a secret weapon and carrying a loaded weapon in public.
Subi also confirmed that the incident took place in the midst of a pro-Trump rally and that the man who had the gun was a demonstrator.
Relatives Facet is the third part of the Grammy-nominated group Migos with relatives Takeoff and Quvo. He is also married to Cardi B.
Amendment (Oct Oct. 24, 2020, 11:30 pm ET): An earlier version of the story reported that Seth Fassett was arrested on Saturday, thanks to a police statement. However, the story was updated after police contradicted his earlier statements. Set Faset was detained but not arrested.
