Deputies say the boat went out of control in Florida after passengers overboarded.

According to a Facebook post from the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened on the St. Lucy River. The post reads that three men who fell from a 24-foot boat were often forced to dive into the water below the water as the boat spun and almost ran over them.

The boat went straight and headed for the concrete dock before crashing over it, causing the boat to airborne. He then crashed into another dock before coming to a stop, according to the sheriff’s office fee.

Those who got off the boat were able to swim on the boat in a nearby boat. One of the men suffered minor injuries and no other injuries were reported, according to the sheriff’s office.

A helicopter boat with a sheriff’s fee was found while directing marine units to passengers in the water. One of the heroes on the helicopter filled the video of the boat capsizing.

The St. Lucy River is a 7-mile tributary that empties into the Atlantic Ocean. The sheriff’s office said the incident happened south of the Stuart Causeway, which connects the town of Stuart with Hutchinson Island and north of St. Lucy’s Inlet, where the river meets the Atlantic Ocean.
