Sorry, Marshmallow, but Demi Lovato has already spoken.
On Saturday (Sept. 12), two days after the release of their inspiring new collaboration “Okay Not To Be OK”, Lovato shared a hilarious video on Instagram of himself politely rejecting the helmet DJ-producer’s sweet marriage proposal.
“You know I love you @marsmellomusic … but uhhhhh @maxehrich took his first step,” the 28-year-old pop star commented on a playful clip, with “Okay not to be exact” in the background.
In July, Lovato announced that she and boyfriend Max Ehrich had taken their relationship to the next level by getting engaged. The couple had been romantically engaged since March.
Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande’s quirky tune, “Stuck with You.” So Lavato and Ehrich confirmed their relationship in May by making a surprise appearance in a music video.
In the official facial video for “Okay Not To Be OK”, Lavato and Marshmallow find themselves after a space in a classic suburban bedroom. A young man ‘Mello walks around the yard and rides his bike into the neighborhood, while a young version of Lovato trashes his teenage bedroom.
“OK Not To Be OK” aims to promote outreach during National Suicide Prevention Month, but serves as a simple reminder to everyone during a uniquely stressful, secluded year.
