Kelly Preston died in her family home in Florida, a death certificate for the late actress confirms.
Preston, who starred in films such as “Jerry Maguire” and “Twins”, died in July at the age of 57 after battling breast cancer for two years. Her husband, John Travolta, confirmed her passing on Instagram.
According to a death certificate obtained by Us Weekly, the actress died on July 12 at her and Travolta’s home in Clearwater, Fla., At 11:46 p.m.
Her body was then transferred to a cemetery and she was later cremated at the Brooksville Crematory in Brooksville, Fla., The outlet reports.

“It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer,” Travolta wrote on Instagram a day after her death. “She fought a brave battle with the love and support of so many.”
He went on to say, “My family and I will be eternally grateful to their doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, all the medical centers who have helped, as well as their many friends and loved ones who have been by their side. Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered.I will take some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, please forgive me if you do not hear from us for a while.But please know that I will expel you feeling love in the weeks and months ahead as we heal. All my love, JT. “

Preston was born on October 13, 1962, in Honolulu, Hawaii. She studied acting at the University of Southern California and went on to star in hit movies such as “Twins, 1988”, “Jerry Maguire” from 1996 and 1999 “For Love of the Game”.
Travolta and Preston met during the filming of ‘The Experts’ in 1989. They were married in 1991 at a midnight ceremony in Paris and had been together ever since. Her last film role was Victoria Gotti in the 2018 film “Gotti”. The film also starred Travolta as John Gotti in the lead role.

Preston is survived by her husband, 66, daughter Ella, 20, and 9-year-old son Benjamin. Their son Jett died in 2009, aged 16 years.
