DC fans will have access to more than eight hours of panels, performances and previews available for just 24 hours as part of the DC Fandome stream on Saturday.
The event was originally divided into six “islands” based on the type of content that would be available on the DC Fandome website during the 24-hour window that begins at 10 a.m. PT. Only one of the six islands, the ‘Hall of Heroes’, was set up to be compatible with mobile devices, as both a keyboard, mouse and trackpad are needed to participate in other aspects of the event.
Now, DC Fandome will be split into two days: the DC Fandome: Hall of Heroes stream will take place on August 22, and the other five islands of content will air September 12 during the DC Fandome: Explore the Multiverse event. Both will be accessible from a laptop, mobile device or desktop computer.
The Hall of Heroes content will play three times during the entire DC Fandome virtual event duration for those who originally missed parts.
There will be options for subtitles for the Hall of Heroes live events in French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish, while pre-recorded content will be English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese are given, Spanish and traditional Chinese translations.
The other islands, which will only be accessible in September, include WatchVerse, KidsVerse, InsiderVerse, FunVerse and YouVerse. For secure access to only the KidsVerse without other islands, a separate website is provided.
The full schedule is available on the event website. Registration is not required to access DC Fandome, but pre-registration is required to view the full schedule prior to the launch of the event.
Some of the panels include the cast of ‘Wonder Woman 1984’, ‘The Flash’ and ‘Shazam! ‘From CW Pay VariationThe list of notable and buzz-worthy panels and events here.
