Day 1 Schedule and Ultra Bonuses Revealed

Niantic submitted the schedule for Pokemon Go Fest 2020 Day 1, and it will be full. The event will provide players with plenty of opportunities to catch the sought after brilliants with rotating habitats, but more importantly are the traditional Ultra Unlock bonuses that are tied to the event.

That means that even if you don’t participate, you will benefit from what happens in Pokemon Go Fest 2020. On the other hand, that also puts a lot of pressure on attendees. This is what is going on during the day for those meticulous planners.

ULTRA UNLOCKED BONUSES
Now that you know the hourly habitats, let’s take a look at the Ultra Unlock bonuses. Throughout the day, trainers will have 32 global challenges that they can complete. You can track them using the Global Challenge Arena in the Today view of “Pokemon Go”. Reaching the goal opens thematic weeks after the event. They are as follows:

Ultra unlock week 1: Dragon Week: Complete 8 challenges.
Ultra unlock week 2: Enigma Week: Complete 16 challenges.
Ultra unlock week 3: Unova Week: complete 24 challenges

This is what trainers get for Dragon Week, which runs from 1 p. M. From July 31 to 1 p.m.
The following Pokémon will appear more in the wild:
Alolan Exeggutor (brilliant available)
Horsea (shiny available)
Dratini (available brilliant)
Bagon (available glossy)
Trapinch (glossy available)
Swablu (glossy available)
Gible (brilliant available) but it will be rarer.

The following Pokémon will be common in 7k eggs:
Dratini (available brilliant)
Bagon (available glossy)
Trapinch (glossy available)
Swablu (glossy available)
Gible and Deino will also be in eggs but much rarer. Both can be brilliant.

Rayquaza will be in five-star raids from 1 p.m. on July 31 to 1 p.m. on August 7.

As I mentioned before, this week we will introduce the brilliant Deino. It is green like money or the Incredible Hulk.
This is what coaches get for Enigma Week. It’s not as easy as the Dragon, but it contains some of the weirdest psyche-focused Pokémon in games.
The following Pokémon will appear more in the wild:
Staryu (available brilliant)
Jigglypuff
Clefairy (brilliant available)
Lunatone (available brilliant)
Solrock (brilliant available)
Baltoy (glossy available)
Bronzor (glossy available)
Elgyem

Pokémon available on raids:
Bronzong
Claydol
Elgyem
Unown U, L, T, R and A. Those are for people who may have lost them last year. I would get at least one of each just for the Unown medal.

Deoxys will be available and can be brilliant. It is a gorgeous yellow and green color scheme. Reminds me of the Jamaican flag.

This is also the debut of the brilliant Staryu. It is nice. I am not particularly impressed by the intensity of the color. I like my shine, a sun so bright that you have to protect your eyes.

This is what trainers will face in Unova Week, which will debut with a host of new Pokémon. They include Sewaddle (looks like Caterpie’s cousin), Cottonee, Emolga, and Bouffalant. As the name of the week suggests, this is the Unova region and coincidentally, New York City and the surrounding area will enjoy something extra. Bouffalant will be available to meet and will be in eggs in those areas. It makes me wish I could visit but I wouldn’t be getting on a plane right now.
Unova Week runs from 1 pm on August 14 to 1 pm on August 21
